Located across from Historic Corolla Park and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, Corolla Village Road Beach Access offers some of the most extensive public beach amenities in Corolla. The site includes public parking, a bathhouse with restrooms and showers, bicycle racks and nearby air stations for vehicles. Most importantly, this is Corolla’s fully ADA-accessible public beach access, with a paved route from the bathhouse and parking area to a wide, ADA-compliant elevated dune ramp leading toward the beach. A shorter set of steps is also available for visitors who do not need the full ramp. Seasonal lifeguard service is typically provided. The location also includes a drive-over ramp available during the off-season, generally October 1 through April 30, subject to beach-driving regulations.
