Located at the corner of Albacore Street and Lighthouse Drive, Albacore Street Beach Access provides public access to the ocean but does not offer designated public parking spaces at the access itself. Visitors generally reach the location on foot or bicycle from nearby accommodations or other parking areas. There is no bathhouse, public restroom or shower facility at Albacore Street.
During the summer season, the beach is typically staffed by a lifeguard, with lifeguard services from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Albacore is also one of Corolla’s seasonal vehicle access points. Its drive-over ramp is available during the off-season, generally October 1 through April 30, subject to posted beach-driving rules and current conditions.
