Itinerary

Day 1 (Check-in at 4:00 PM)

  • Ease into your coastal surroundings with low-key beach fun.
  • Take a relaxing walk or wade along Corolla Beach.
  • Rent a beach kayak or paddleboard for an evening glide near shore.

Day 2 – Surf & SUP

  • Take a surf lesson with a local outfitter like Corolla Surf School.
  • Join a guided stand-up paddleboard (SUP) tour on the Currituck Sound.

Day 3 – Speed & Wind

  • Rent a jet ski from Corolla Water Sports for a thrilling ride across the sound.
  • Try a kiteboarding lesson or demonstration viewing at the Whalehead Club lawn.

Day 4 – Paddle & Wildlife

  • Join a guided kayak eco-tour through Currituck Sound’s marshes and canals.
  • Visit the Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education for water-themed exhibits and try your hand at crabbing and fishing off the piers at the Center.

Day 5 – Fishing Day

  • Book a fishing charter or pier fishing trip through Corolla Bait & Tackle (options for sound or ocean trips).
  • Enjoy an afternoon of surf or beach fishing with rented gear and local tips.

Day 6 – Surf & Shore Play

  • Rent a boogie board or skimboard and enjoy the Atlantic surf.
  • Head over to the Mainland for a day of fun at H2OBX Water Park.

Day 7 (Check-out by 10:00 AM)

End your trip on a peaceful, coastal note. Take a sunrise beach walk and dip your toes in the water as you bid farewell. Or, if time allows, enjoy a short morning paddle on the sound.
